I was reading today's Day by Day devotional from Open Doors and really liked these quotes.
Chinese Proverb:
"Instead of cursing the darkness, light a candle."
Horace Bushneel:
"What you call hindrances, obstacles and discouragements are possibly God's opportunities."
Corrie ten Boom- Holland:
God has no problems only plans."
Somebody:
"Your problems become God's plans, the moment you give problems to Him."
I wanted to share my interpretation on the Chinese Proverb. I think that the darkness is sin or the unbelieving and instead of cursing sin or the unbelieving we should be a light to the world! Cursing them is not going to do anyone any good. So next time you here of someone doing something wrong don't curse but bless and pray for them.

Matthew 5:14-16
"You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before men, that the may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven.
Great post! Thanks for sharing.
